We normally close during the winter months (December, January, February). However we are always open for requests if you wish to organize an event.

Villa Buonvisi offers 7 double rooms, 1 suite and 2 family rooms. In addition we also have a two bedroom farmhouse and a three bedroom farmhouse.

Check in from 15.00. We kindly ask you to let us know your approximate time of arrival and if you plan to arrive later than 18.00. Check out before 11.00.

Yes, we welcome all ages but please keep in mind to show respect towards guests who wish to have some peace and quiet. We do not allow toys in the pool.

We allow small and friendly dogs and charge an extra fee of EUR 20/night and dog. Our villa dog, Polly will be happy to welcome new furry friends. Please keep in mind to show respect towards guests who wish to have some peace and quiet. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and can not be left alone in the room. Advanced notification is mandatory.

Yes, at Villa Buonvisi no room look the same. When you book you are required to choose a room type. The room description will tell you information such as what type of bathroom there is, which level the room is located on and what views it offers. Please note that we are only able to change your room type onsite based on availability, fees may apply.

Villa Buonvisi is located in Lucca, Tuscany and is conveniently close to several international airports. See approximate distance below: Pisa 18 km - 25 min Florence 70 km - 50 min Bologna 100 km - 1h 35 min

You can either take a taxi from either airport or we can assist you with booking a transfer. We highly recommend renting a car for more flexibility to explore the area, can be arranged easily at the airports. Approximate prices for transfer: Pisa €80-€100 (1-7 passengers) Florence €160 - €220 (1-7 passengers)

No, we do not have a restaurant onsite. Breakfast is included and we offer nibbles and snacks in our pool bar. We would happily arrange Aperitivo upon request.
